So, this has been a really fun week with my parents here. Sorry for my lack of posting but I have been falling into bed every night exhausted! Monday I took my parents into town in Wiesbaden to show them around. We ate lunch at my favorite restaurant, Vapiano, and then walked around the city. I was a little disappointed that the weather was yucky but I suppose it could have been worse! Tuesday we took a day trip over to Heidelberg and it was really fun. Again, the weather could have been better but I was just happy that the rain held off until we were on our way home. Here are some pictures from the day.Yesterday Deaner was lucky enough to get to take the day off and join on our on little jaunt to France. We drove to Strasbourg via several little towns and the weather was great, finally! Here is our stop at the border. I'm so irritated because this shirt makes me look pregnant and I swear to god, I'm not!We drove through the towns of Wissembourg, Seebach and Haguenau on the way into Strasbourg. Deaner and I will definitely be taking a trip back to spend the day in Wissembourg as it was a super cute town. When we got to Strasbourg we walked around the beautiful Cathedral and then down to the river for a boat tour. The whole day was a lot of fun. I can't wait to take more guests here. It was especially worth it to get this shot of my mom!Today has been a pretty lazy day. My dad went on a tour of a winery near here but since Deaner and I are doing the tour on Monday, my mom and I went to shop in Rudesheim. Tonight we are having dinner at another one of my favorites, Trenz winery in Johnnisberg. I can't wait for the Reisling soup! Tomorrow we have to leave bright and early to take my parents to the airport! I have not officially decided that I am going to let them leave yet! I'm sure I will have more to update tomorrow and perhaps some more pictures! Happy Thursday!

I love Heidelberg! The castle is really fun to tour! I have been to it about 3 or 4 times. My dad lived in Germany for 3 years while I was in high school and I was also born in Stuttgart. I love Germany and am ready to go back!
Yay! I am so excited! Thanks so much!!! I am so happy to hear you are having a fun time with your parents!!!
