Where has the time gone?

I feel like I haven't posted on my blog in FOREVER! We have been so busy the past few days! I will try and catch y'all up as succinctly as possible! Friday morning I was super excited because Julia, Daniel and Mia were coming back to Wiesbaden. Our plan was to ride up the funicular to see the Russian Church that overlooks Wiesbaden, have lunch in the Old City, and then meet Deaner back at the hotel (when he was done with work) and head to the festival downtown. It was a really pretty day in Wiesbaden (thank god) and the Russian Church was a good choice of things to see that day. Here are a few pictures from our little outing. After our trip up to Neroberg and lunch, we waited around for Deaner to get back to the hotel. Around 4:30 or so we headed down to the fair and walked around a bit before setting up camp at a table for the evening. Jon and Steph came to meet us and we had a really good time. Here are a few shots of what Wiesbaden looked like. It was hard to get good pictures because it was so crowded. I wish I could have taken an aerial shot! The picture below is not all that good but it I wanted to give y'all an idea of how these vendors were grilling all their food. This one only 1 vendor out of about 200 but it gives a better idea. Look how huge that grill was! Here are a few pictures once we set up shop at a table for the evening. The picture of Deaner and I above was also taken once we sat down.Eventually Mia had enough of the festival and it was time for J,D&M to head back to Frankfurt. I walked back up to the hotel with them to their car before walking back down to the festival to meet back up with Deaner, Steph and Jon. Once I got back I asked Deaner to get me another beer. Apparently I told him to get me a bigger beer than he had been getting and this is what he and Jon came back with! Ridiculous!Needless to say I did not finish this entire beer! It was enormous! We decided to call it a night at a reasonable hour because Deaner and I had to get up and drive to Cologne the next day to meet back up with J,D&M. We had a really good time but I am going to post about that in a separate post. Don't worry, I am going to do it today but I feel like this is long enough and I want to go ahead and get it up on my blog. So stay tuned for the post part II today! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Seriously, those beers were ridiculous! ;) But it was a great time!

That's so funny that we both saw the Russian Church this weekend, it's a small town!!
